Until the game unlocks, treat this as a Steam-sourced loop map. Tip percentages and Day-1 walkthroughs land after launch.

Core loop (Steam “About”)

  1. Rice: wash, light the burner, wait ~30 minutes. Starting a new pot after you run out is too late.
  2. Beef: simmer a bag with measured onions and sauce for about 15 minutes. Miss the amounts and taste drifts.
  3. Plate: regular / large / extra large, sauce or onion options, toppings. Ladle amount decides bowl quality.
  4. Cook gear: only two IH burners (biggest bottleneck), plus microwave, fryer, soup, side restock.
  5. Serve within about 5 minutes before the anger meter fills; customers leave angry if you wait too long.
  6. Dishes: bowls run out unless you keep racks and the dishwasher moving.
  7. Takeout / phone: bag orders at the counter; big phone orders arrive for pickup ~30 minutes later.
  8. After close: order stock, buy equipment, unlock menu items, hire part-timers, decorate.
  9. HQ review every 7 days; day-30 overall review, then free-play service. Three difficulty levels.

Signature fail state

Out of rice = forced close and a pay cut for the manager. Steam calls out the warning beep, red countdown band, and “Closed: Out of Rice!” notice as the game’s signature disaster.

Coming soon after launch: Day-1 checklists with numbers we can re-check in-game (ladle tips, rush timing, etc.).
